Location: Mdina, Malta

The Magisterial Palace, was erected by Grandmaster De Vilhena in about 1730 and converted to a Museum of Natural History in Mdina. Built to the design of architect De Mondion, the Palace epitomizes French Baroque architecture as introduced in Malta at the beginning of the 18th century. It houses the National Museum of Natural History which is the national repository of biological specimens. The Courtyard is a gem of architecture that can be used for cocktails or dinner or any event in Malta.
